Rockets Spoil Fan Appreciation Night

----- Scoot Henderson scored 30 points in three-quarters of work, but it's not enough as the Houston Rockets spoil fan appreciation night with a 116-107 victory Friday night at Moda Center in Portland.

Scoot Henderson gave fans a glimpse of the future Friday night at Moda Center.

Henderson finished with 30 points and seven assists while connecting on 6-of-7 from three-point range. He electrified the crowd near the end of the third quarter with a powerful dunk leading to an and-one opportunity.

Dalano Banton added 28 points and 10 rebounds and Kris Murray finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Jalen Green led Houston with 26 points and Amen Thompson recorded a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds.

The Trail Blazers took a 19-11 lead with 5:37 left in the first quarter following a Henderson step-back three-pointer.

The Rockets responded with a 12-5 run to close the quarter cutting Portland's lead to just one at 24-23.

Houston opened up the second quarter on a 22-8 run to take a 13-point lead at 45-32. They would take a 54-40 lead into the locker room.

The Trail Blazers never got closer than nine-points the rest of the way.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers play their season finale Sunday in Sacramento against the Kings. The game is scheduled to tip off at 12:30 PM.
