Bobby is a struggling screenwriter taking care of a feisty Jack Russell puppy because of a deal he made with a girl he's hoping to sleep with. During a month of every day life in New York City, Bobby grapples with his friend Scott who is a womanizer, and a foe Hart Carlton, who steals Bobby's screenplay ideas and puts them into a campy morality play about 9-11. All of this occurs while Bobby has several failed relationships of his own.
